St. Charles College of Arts and Science, Eraiyur

 

The Third Graduation Day of St. Charles College of Arts and Science, Eraiyur, was held with great pride and joy on June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the ABC Hall. The ceremony marked the culmination of academic success for the students of the 2021–2024 batch, a moment of honour and celebration for their hard work and perseverance.

 

The event was presided over by Rev. Sr. Dr. Amali Anbarasi, Secretary of the Institution, who formally commenced the proceedings of this significant milestone.

 

We were privileged to have Rev. Fr. Dr. Joseph Anthony Samy, SJ, Superior, Sacred Heart College, Shenbaganur, Kodaikanal, as the Chief Guest. In his Graduation Address, he congratulated the graduates on their academic achievements and encouraged them to pursue their goals with passion and integrity. He urged the students to become ambassadors of the institution, upholding the values of St. Charles College and making meaningful contributions to society.

 

Dr. S. William Suresh Kumar, Principal of the College, presented the graduates. A total of 124 undergraduates received their degrees in person, and 6 graduates were awarded degrees in absentia. He also administered the Graduation Oath, formally inducting the graduates into the world of professionals and lifelong learners.

 

Rev. Sr. Cynthia Robinson, Vice Principal, warmly welcomed the gathering and introduced the esteemed Chief Guest. The Heads of Departments announced the names of the graduates from their respective disciplines.

 

The ceremony began with the reverent rendition of Tamizh Thaai Vazhthu and concluded with the National Anthem, symbolizing pride in tradition and unity.

 

The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Sisters of the St. Charles Congregation, parents, and faculty members, all gathered to witness and celebrate this proud moment in the lives of the graduates.

 

The Third Graduation Day was a memorable and inspiring event, echoing the spirit of academic excellence, values, and service that define St. Charles College of Arts and Science.
