The Inauguration of the Postgraduate Programmes (M.Sc. & M.Com) – Milestone 2025 – was held on 23rd August 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in ABC Hall, St. Charles College of Arts and Science, Eraiyur.

 

The ceremony began with a Prayer Song, Lighting of the Lamp, and Scripture Reading followed by a solemn prayer invoking God’s blessings. Prof. S. Mohammed Khan welcomed the dignitaries, staff, and students.

 

The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. S. William Suresh Kumar, Principal, who reflected on the remarkable growth of the educational institutions established by the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo, spanning both schools and higher education.

 

The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Dr. M. Swaminathan, emphasized the distinction between quantity education and quality education. He urged students to pursue excellence in higher education and encouraged staff to mentor the new PG students. He also congratulated the management, principal, staff, and students on achieving this historic milestone.

 

Rev. Sr. Amali Anbarasi, Secretary, delivered the Felicitation Address, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest for his inspiring message that motivated both staff and students.

 

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, marking the close of a memorable and inspiring occasion.
