14.12.2024– A Faculty Development Programme on “Tech-Driven Cooperative Learning” was successfully held on December 14, 2024, at St. Charles College of Arts and Science, Eraiyur organized by IQAC CELL.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from educators eager to integrate technology into collaborative learning experiences.
The program commenced with a prayer led by Mr. Vasanth Tesi Tarius, HOD of Chemistry, followed by a welcome address by Rev. Sr. Mini Mascrene SCB, Deputy Vice Principal. Rev. Sr. Dr. Amali Anbarasi SCB, Secretary, delivered the felicitation address, emphasizing the importance of embracing innovative teaching methodologies.
The Chief Guest, Dr. A. John Martin, led two engaging sessions. The first session, “Exploring the Foundations of Tech-Driven Cooperative Learning,” provided participants with a theoretical framework for understanding and implementing technology-integrated collaborative learning. The second session, “Empowering Educators with AI Tools for Collaborative Learning,” focused on practical applications, showcasing various AI tools that can enhance collaborative learning experiences.
The afternoon session, led by Dr. S. Anthony Philomen Raj, addressed the crucial topic of “Simplifying NAAC and AQAR: A Practical Approach to Documentation.” This session equipped educators with strategies for streamlining the often complex documentation process required fo accreditation.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. E. Jayaprakash, Assistant Professor. Participants left with valuable insights and practical tools to enhance their teaching practices and foster collaborative learning environments in their classrooms.
The event was a resounding success, achieving its aim of empowering educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the evolving landscape of education.
