The Department of Chemistry organized an industrial visit to Thai Dairy Products, Pridhivimangalam, Thiyagadurgam, Kallakurichi District, on 9th August 2025. The visit provided students with practical exposure to industrial processes and helped them understand the real-world applications of chemistry in the dairy industry.

 

Upon arrival, the students received a warm welcome from the management and were given a guided tour of key units, including:

 

Milk Collection & Testing Unit

 

Processing & Pasteurization Section

 

Product Packaging Unit

 

Company representatives explained each stage of production, highlighting hygiene standards, safety protocols, and the chemical principles involved in milk preservation.
