The Department of Commerce, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully hosted a seminar on “Digital Transformation in Business” on March 17, 2025, at St. Charles College of Arts and Science, Eraiyur.

 

The event commenced with a prayer by Delphine Jossi, followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Rabiyadul Basariya M., a III B.Com student.

 

In the presidential address, Rev. Sr. Dr. Amali Anbarasi, Secretary of the college, highlighted the growing impact of digital transformation in the business world. Dr. S. William Suresh Kumar, Principal, and Rev. Sr. Mini Mascrence, Deputy Principal, extended their felicitations, emphasizing the importance of integrating digital tools into business education.

 

The seminar featured an insightful session by Dr. Lalitha, Head and Assistant Professor of Commerce, Government Arts and Science College, Thiruvennainallur. She discussed key aspects of digital transformation, including digital marketing, e-commerce, and data analytics, engaging students in an interactive learning experience.

 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Lokesh, a III B.Com student, acknowledging the efforts of the dignitaries, faculty, and organizing team. Esther Preethi and Rexiline Auxiliya efficiently managed the proceedings as Masters of Ceremony.

 

The seminar was meticulously organized by the Department of Commerce, under the leadership of the Head of the Department, faculty members, and III B.Com students. The session provided valuable insights into the evolving digital landscape, preparing students for the dynamic business world.
