On 13.08.2024, Tuesday, the Women’s Welfare Committee and Anti-Sexual Harassment Committee of SCC organized an Awareness Programme on Cyber Security for our women students. The event was graced by Mrs. P. Bhuvaneswari, Inspector of Police at the Cyber Crime Station, Kallakurichi, as the chief guest.

Mrs. Bhuvaneswari delivered an engaging session, highlighting the importance of cyber security in today’s digital age, especially for women. She discussed common cyber threats, safeguarding personal information, and the legal options available to cybercrime victims. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating. Mrs. Suganya, Sub-Inspector of Police, and Mrs. Jayalakshmi, Head Constable, also contributed their insights.

The event was well-received, and our Secretary, Rev. Sr. Dr. Amali Anbarasi, and Principal, Dr. S. William Suresh Kumar, felicitated the Chief Guest, advising students to follow her guidance. This program marks a significant step toward empowering our women students to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.
