St. Charles College of Arts & Science, Eraiyur, celebrated Voters Awareness Day on 25th January 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event, held at 10:00 AM, was graced by Ms. S. Deepika, District Social Welfare Officer, Kallakurichi, and conducted with the blessings of the management.

 

The program began with Tamizh Thai Vazhthu and a prayer, followed by the flag hoisting by the Chief Guest and the voters’ pledge led by the Student Council Chairman. The event featured insightful talks by Mr. E. Jayaprakash and Mr. P. Angamuthu, emphasizing the importance of voting and the Constitution. A special voter awareness song was performed by Abinaya (Commerce).

 

The Principal, Dr. S. William Suresh Kumar, felicitated the gathering and distributed prizes for the Quiz on the Indian Constitution (held on 23rd Jan). The Chief Guest delivered an inspiring speech on the right to vote, followed by the National Voters Day Pledge led by Mr. V. Francis Xavier (Commerce HoD & NSS Officer).

 

The event was supported by Diwagar (Photography), Azhagiri & Arusamy (Audio Arrangements). It concluded with a vote of thanks by Saaliha (Commerce) and the National Anthem.

 

The celebration successfully instilled awareness about the power of voting and the role of responsible citizenship.
