St. Charles College of Arts & Science, a premier Catholic institution and is an exclusive Co-Education College run by the Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo, Eastern Province with dedicatory zeal and vision commencing its pioneering service in the cause of student’s quality higher education which started in 2019 in Eraiyur, Kallakurichi district. The college is committed for labour of love and learning. As a Catholic College its purpose is to impart liberal education of moral character to students of all creeds. This college strives to develop their intellectual powers; it locates, identifies and cultivates their interests and talents, trains them to be responsible and useful citizens. We are in sixth year in providing quality service to people who are eagerly waiting to enter the portals of Higher Education, by Educating, Enlightening and Empowering them to emerge as witnesses of social transformation.
St. Charles College of Arts and Science is a unit of St. Charles Group of Institution who are pioneer in the field of education since 1684 and have several schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka in various states of India and in overseas.
St. Charles College of Arts & Science consists of a library with numerous books, ground floor and two floors of the classroom building. We have a well-built spacious play area, classrooms, lecture halls, comprehensive library, Digital library, well-equipped laboratories, hostel, and a canteen.
Now the college has committed and skilled team of 40 teaching and 15 non-teaching staff. A challenging curriculum blended with relevant academic programmes, co-curricular activities, exposure programmes and a well-developed student support system has placed the college at the forefront in the field of higher education.
The college currently offers 9 undergraduate programmes and 2 postgraduate programmes affiliated to Annamalai University, Chidambaram-TN
