THE 8th ANNUAL SPORTS MEET

The event was honored by the presence of our Chief Guest Mr. K. Saravanakumaran, M.A., B.Ed., MSW, DSP, Kallakurichi, as the Chief Guest. The programme was organized under the blessings and guidance of the Secretary, Principal, and Academic Coordinator of the college.

The arrival of the Chief Guest marked a significant and memorable moment in the Sports Meet. The Chief Guest was received with great enthusiasm and warmth by the members of the college. As the Chief Guest entered the college campus, the college band welcomed the distinguished guest with a lively and impressive musical performance.

The sports event commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome to the gathering.

The Sports Meet began with a graceful Classical Dance performance by the students, who welcomed the gathering through an elegant and traditional presentation.

The National Flag, the Olympic Flag and the College Flag were hoisted with due respect and honor, marking the significance of the day. The National Pledge and a patriotic song further strengthened the spirit of patriotism and unity among the students. The ceremony symbolized national pride, sporting spirit, unity, and the values of the institution.

The March Past was one of the most impressive and colorful events of the Annual Sports Meet. A total of four teams – Fire, Sky, Water, and Earth – participated in the March Past with great enthusiasm, discipline, and team spirit.

Various track and field events were conducted for both boys and girls.

One of the highlights of the 8th Annual Sports Meet was the Pyramid Display presented by the four houses. The students demonstrated remarkable strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and confidence while forming different pyramid structures.

The winners of various events were awarded medals, certificates, and prizes. The Chief Guest, the Secretary, the Principal and our Academic Coordinator distributed the prizes to the winners.

Our Chief Guest delivered an inspiring address during the Sports Meet. He emphasized the significant role of sports in developing discipline, leadership, teamwork, responsibility, and self-confidence among students. He encouraged the participants to face challenges with courage, respect their opponents, and accept both victory and defeat with a positive attitude.

The Vote of Thanks was delivered at the concluding session of the Annual Sports Meet. The programme concluded with the National Anthem. All the dignitaries, faculty members, and students stood respectfully and joined in singing the anthem, bringing the 8th Annual Sports Meet to a dignified and memorable close.
