A special awareness programme on the theme “For the Welfare of Our Girl Children” was organized at St. Charles College of Arts and Science, Eraiyur, on 19th September 2026 at 9.30 a.m. in the ABC Hall.
The programme began with an invocation, seeking the blessings of God for the successful conduct of the event. This was followed by the Welcome Address, which extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members and students.
A Special Address was delivered by Rev. Sr. Dr. Amali Anbarasi, Secretary, highlighting the importance of the welfare, safety, education, dignity and overall development of girl children. The session emphasized the need to create a supportive and respectful environment in which every girl can grow with confidence and achieve her goals.
The Principal’s Address highlighted the responsibility of educational institutions, parents and society in promoting the rights, education and well-being of girl children. The programme created awareness among the participants about the importance of empowering and supporting young girls.
The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, organizers, faculty members and students who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
Overall, the programme was informative and meaningful, creating awareness about the importance of protecting, educating, empowering and ensuring the well-being of girl children.
